Homemade Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Potatoes peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Ranch dressing
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, cover potatoes with water with a sprinkle of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until totally soft. In about 15 – 20 minutes, drain and return potatoes to the pot.
- Use a potato masher to mash potatoes until smooth.
- In a small pot melt butter and milk until warm.
- Pour over potatoes and stir until completely combined.
- Add in the sour cream and ranch and stir to combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with melted butter and parsley.
