Homemade Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Ranch dressing
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • In a large pot, cover potatoes with water with a sprinkle of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until totally soft. In about 15 – 20 minutes, drain and return potatoes to the pot.
  • Use a potato masher to mash potatoes until smooth.
  • In a small pot melt butter and milk until warm.
  • Pour over potatoes and stir until completely combined.
  • Add in the sour cream and ranch and stir to combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Top with melted butter and parsley.
