Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian Bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2-3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Slice the Italian loaf into 1½-2 inch thick pieces.
  • In a large bowl mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon until fully combined.
  • Submerge each slice into the mixture, shake off the excess, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet on medium heat melt 2-3 tbsp of butter.
  • Once the skillet is hot, brown each side.
  • Top with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and syrup.
