Slice the Italian loaf into 1½-2 inch thick pieces.
In a large bowl mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon until fully combined.
Submerge each slice into the mixture, shake off the excess, and set aside.
In a large skillet on medium heat melt 2-3 tbsp of butter.
Once the skillet is hot, brown each side.
Top with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and syrup.
