8tbspsalted butter
½cupgranulated sugar
¼cuplight brown sugarpacked
1tspvanilla
1 egg
Dry Ingredients
1 ½cupsall purpose flour
½tspbaking soda
¼tspsalt

1cupchocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°. Microwave butter for 40 seconds until just melted. Let cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, add in the butter, and sugars and beat until creamy, Then add in the vanilla, and egg. Mix for 10-15 seconds. Do not overbeat.
In another bowl, add the flour, baking soda, and salt. MIx until combined. Add the dry ingredients into the mixiing bowl until fully combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Roll into 12 balls and bake for 9-11 minutes. Let them cool on the pan for 20-30 minutes.
