Fettuccine Alfredo

This homemade fettuccine alfredo is so easy and delicios to make, you will never buy that jar stuff again!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fettucine noodles
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 tsp Minced garlic
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 4 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Creole seasoning
  • Salt
  • Parsley

Instructions

  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to the package instructions. Save about 1 cup of the pasta water.
  • In a saucepan on medium heat, melt better, then add in the minced garlic. Mix the garlic around in the butter.
  • Add in the heavy cream and cream cheese. Mix until fully combined.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, creole seasoning and salt to taste.
  • Mix the parmesan cheese until fully combined. If the sauce is too thick, add in a little pasta water.
  • Add in the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated.
  • Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Over time the alfredo sauce will thicken so don’t be alarmed if it’s a little loose.
