Philly Cheesesteak Fries
Ingredients
Cheese Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cup milk
- 2 cups mozarella cheese
Philly Cheesesteak Fries
- 2 lbs. fries
- 1 lb. shaved steak
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- cheese
- chopped green onion
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Once melted add in the flour and stir until completely combined. Slowly add in the milk and continue to stir for 3 – 5 minutes until thickened.
- Cut your heat down to low and stir in the mozzarella cheese until fully melted. Sit to the side and keep warm.
- In a large skillet on medium heat, add in 2 tbsp of oil. Once the oil is hot add in the shaved steak. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Cook for 5 – 7 minutes or until steak is browned.
- Fry french fries to package instructions.
- On a serving dish add your fries. Top with some of the steak and melted cheese. Add more steak and top with more melted cheese. Garnish with chopped green onion.
