Ingredients

  • 1 French Bread Loaf
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 4 tbsp salted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 150z peaches in heavy syrup

Brown Sugar Sauce

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Fully coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Slice the french bread into 3/4 inch slices, thencube into smaller pieces and sit to the side.
  • In large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, brownsugar, eggs, half and half, butter, and vanilla untilfully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, add in your cubed french bread ,and pour over the mixture.
  • Add in 1 can of the peaches with the syrup to themixture. Depending on your preference you cancut the peaches if you like.
  • Fully mixed ensuring all the bread the coated withthe mixture.
  • Transfer to a baking dish.
  • With the second can of peaches, put them acrossthe top of your bread pudding.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until browned. Overtime the bread pudding will settle if its still a little moist after 50 minutes.

Warm Brown Sugar Sauce

  • When the bread pudding is almost done startmaking the sauce. Start by melting the butter in asauce pan on medium heat.
  • Once the butter is melted, add in the brown sugar and heavy whipping cream and whisk together.
  • Allow the sauce come to a boil then cut off the heat. Over time the sauce will thicken up.
  • Pour the sauce over the bread pudding and serve.
