Season both sides of the chicken breast with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and italian seasoning.
In a large skillet on medium heat, heat up your preferred oil. Add the chicken and let it brown on both sides for 2 – 4 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan. Clean the pan if desired.
On medium heat add in the butter allow it to melt. Once melted add in the minced garlic and chicken broth and whisk together. Add in the heavy whipping cream and continue to whisk together. Add in one tablespoon of lemon juice then taste the sauce. If you would like more lemon juice, add the other tablespoon. if not don't. Add the salt and continue to stir until fully combined.
Add the chicken back into the pan and simmer for 5 – 8 minutes. Top with fresh lemon slices and parsley.
