Fettuccine Alfredo
This homemade fettuccine alfredo is so easy and delicios to make, you will never buy that jar stuff again!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Fettucine noodles
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 tsp Minced garlic
- 2 cups Heavy cream
- 4 oz Cream cheese softened
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- Creole seasoning
- Salt
- Parsley
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to the package instructions. Save about 1 cup of the pasta water.
- In a saucepan on medium heat, melt better, then add in the minced garlic. Mix the garlic around in the butter.
- Add in the heavy cream and cream cheese. Mix until fully combined.
- Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, creole seasoning and salt to taste.
- Mix the parmesan cheese until fully combined. If the sauce is too thick, add in a little pasta water.
- Add in the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated.
- Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Over time the alfredo sauce will thicken so don’t be alarmed if it’s a little loose.
