Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lump Crab meat
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tbsp Mayo
  • tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 15 Saltine crackers crumbled up

Lemon Aioli Dip

  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Parsley optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the eggs, mayo, old bay seasoning, garlic powder and salt until fully combined.
  • Drain and make sure no shells are in the crab meat. Transfer crab meat to the mixture.
  • Add in the onion, panko crumbs, saltine crackers and parsley until fully combined.
  • Form into desired size cakes. In a a large nonstick pan over medium heat, add tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter.
  • Cook crab cakes for 3 -5 minutes on each side until browned.

Lemon Aioli Sauce

  • In a small bowl mix together all the ingredients for the sauce until fully combined.
