Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Creole seasoning

Instructions

  • In bowl add the shrimp and buttermilk.
  • Ensure that the buttermilk is covering all the shrimp.
  • In another bowl add the flour, old bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and creole seasoning. Mix until fully combined.
  • Take the shrimp out of the buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture. Ensure that the flour mixture is fully covered on the shrimp.
  • Once the oil is hot, fry the shrimp for 2 – 3 minutes or until brown and crisped.
  • Drain off excess grease and serve immediately.
