Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 cups Dry Pasta
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 1/4 cup Sour cream
- 2 cups Half and Half
- 4 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
- 3 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°/
- Follow the package directions to cook the pasta and add 2 tsp of salt to the water. Cook until al dente (cooked, but not too soft). The pasta will cook again in the oven. Drain the pasta then add to a large bowl.
- Add in the melted butter and sour cream into the pasta and mix until fully covered and combined.
- Add in 2 cups of cheddar cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella to the pasta bowl. Mix until fully combined.
- Coat your baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or butter. We are going to layer the macaroni.
- Pour half of the noodles into the baking dish. Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella to the top. Pour 1 cup half and half over the noodles and cheese.
- Add the rest of the noodles to the baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella. This should be 1 cup of each. Pour the other cup of half and half over the top. Optional: sprinkle a little paprika over the top for color.
- Bake in oven uncovered for 40 minutes or until the macaroni is browned. To see it it is done, you can push back a corner, to see if you don't see any half and half in the dish.
- Allow the macaroni and cheese to set for at least 15 minutes before serving.
