Salmon and Shrimp Penne Pasta

Ingredients
Shrimp
- 1 lb shrimp peeled, and deveined
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp creole seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt
Salmon
- 1 lb salmon cubed
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp creole seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt
Pasta
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sour cream
Alfredo Sauce
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup mozarella cheese
- ¼ tsp creole seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Once the pasta is done drain the water and mix in 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of sour cream.
- In a small bowl add the salmon, oil, and seasonings. Mix until fully combined. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tbsp of oil. Add the salmon into the pan and allow it to cook for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- In another small bowl add the shrimp, oil, and seasonings. Mix until fully combined. In that same skillet add in more oil if needed. Add the shrimp into the pan and allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- In a saucepan over medium heat melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Allow the garlic to cook for about 1 minute. Stir in the heavy whipping cream until combined. Allow the cream to cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Add in the parmesan and mozzarella cheese and stir until combined and melted. Cut off the heat and season with salt and creole seasoning.
- Add half of the shrimp and salmon into the alfredo sauce until combined.
- Pour the sauce over the noodles and mix fully. Top with pasta with the remaining shrimp and salmon. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
